In support of the mission of Mid-America Christian University, all students are required to live in University-owned residence halls unless one of the following exceptions is met:
- The student is married
- The student is at least 22 years old or will turn 22 within the academic semester
- The student is enrolled in 9 credit hours or less
- The student will be a graduating senior in the current academic year
- The student is living at the full-time residence of a parent/guardian within 40 miles of the University (requires verification by the Residential Housing Office)
Our campus housing is designed for full-time College of Arts and Science (CAS) students between the ages of 17 and 26. If you are seeking residential housing, please complete the New Student Residential Housing Form or the Returning Student Housing Form.
Students should not secure alternative living arrangements prior to approval. The Residential Housing Office strongly advises students not to sign a lease until they receive confirmation of exemption approval. A copy of a rental agreement/lease does not demonstrate a financial need nor document a need for the exemption.
If you have any questions about this form, please feel free to contact the Office of Residential Housing.
